Shopping is easy – simply surf the webshop and add the items you want to the cart. At check-out you can select shipping options and payment.
Some items can only be ordered from affiliates. Simply follow the link to their website and complete the sale there.
All communication regarding your order (if needed) will be done through e-mail, so be sure to enter a valid e-mail address. Please specify if you can't be reached by e-mail in near future. Other contact options might not necessarily be tried even if you enter them. Check your spam-box too if you don't receive the order confirmation when you place the order.
The shop is physically located in Norway, so the exact prices are given in NOK. The final total will of course be shown in check-out before you enter your payment details.
VAT and other taxes/ fees might be added by customs in your country.
Your order is usually processed within 24 hours and shipped the next working day (Monday to Friday). An e-mail confirmation will be sent when the order is prepared for shipping.
You can pay with a credit card, Payson or wire transfer. You will be given instructions for the payment form you selected during check-out. You enter credit/ debit card details through Quickpay - our independent payment processor. Your credit card is not charged until the order ships. The company name that will appear on your credit card bill is "Sommerstua" or "Sommerstua/OEB" or "Payson" if you pay through their service. Credit (payment by bill) can be granted to major companies and organisations. COD (cash-on-delivery) is available within Norway. You pay when you receive the package.
You can choose from various shipping methods during check-out. Regular airmail is recommended.
For expensive orders registered airmail or registered package is recommended (can be traced online). For registered airmail or package we charge a 250 NOK fee to cover the additional paperwork these shipment forms involves.
Shipping by FedEx or DHL is also offered, but is only recommended for big orders from large companies and organisations. Please provide your import account number in the comments field during check-out or request a quote before you submit the order, otherwise we will use CarryOn Business instead. In addition to the actual shipping cost we charge a 500 NOK fee to cover the added paperwork this shipment form involves.
Missing an order? Please allow four weeks for the shipment to arrive before you contact us. Usually it's just a delay in customs, so it might be a good idea to contact them.
Within Norway you can return orders for no particular reason within 14 days, as long as the sealing is not broken and the total order value is above 300 NOK (incl. shipping). You have to pay postage charges. In case you suspect the item is faulty, always contact us before returning to avoid any misunderstandings. Incompatibility with your equipment will not be considered a fault. The warranty period varies from one to five years. For used items three months warranty is given. However, always contact us before returning an item for any reason.
